Always an entertaining experience. Come to Ichiban for dinner and a show. You won’t regret the delicious meat ans seafood you get served and the chef prepare it in front of you. Better than those other chain hibachi places, Ichiban is a sure fire way to enjoy a meal.
5. La Cabra Craft Tacos

La Cabra bills its restaurant as the first craft taco spot in Zanesville. They serve fresh ingredients in four or corn tortillas, soft or crispy, and made to order. You can make your tacos or get one of the specials on the menu, including alligator and vegan choices, as well as something called angry chicken that comes with flaming hot Cheetos.
They also serve nachos and chicken wings, craft cocktails, and a delicious Sunday brunch. You might want to visit the website or call to make reservations first; they can get busy.

8. Muddy Miser’s

9. Old Market House Inn

Opened in 1974 by the same Jimmy of Adoretto’s, this is a place designed to feel like an 1800s stagecoach stop. They have a wide variety of menu options to satisfy all palates.
With menu choices ranging from burgers and homemade pub chips to chicken piccata, this restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent service. You can even purchase some of your favorites to take home. Reservations aren’t a must, but they might help on a busy Friday or Saturday night.

Rooster’s is a chicken wing joint. Yes, a joint. They serve up other things beside wings, of course, but that is what they are known best for. With a wide variety of sauces ranging from hot as all hell to Thai and Korean-style sauces to suit any type of taste craving.
They do serve other items as well, like salads, burgers and pizza, but again, the wings are where they are at. If you are looking for a great place to eat and watch a game or hang out with your friends, they serve beers on tap, cocktails, and other beverages to wet your whistle.

Featuring some of the best pizza around Russo’s is a a family restaurant that everyone can enjoy. They differentiate themselves from other pizza places by only serving beer brewed in Ohio on tap along with a selection of local wines.

Tlaquepaque Mexican Restaurant has good food and reasonably priced. The chips and salsa were particularly delicious, while the burritos was the standout item, served hot and bursting with flavor. The wait staffs were courteous and attentive, ensuring the diners’ glasses remained filled and checking in frequently.
While it may not be comparable to authentic Mexican restaurants in Louisiana, Texas, and Mexico, it is currently the best option in Zanesville.
16. Weasel Boy Brewery Company

The first brewery that has operated in Zanesville since prohibition and it is a rollicking joint, but it leaves the kids at home. This is a 21 and over spot that offers up pizza and other delicious bar food along with their craft brews.
They have a fun-themed “rum room” that is like a pseudo-tiki bar where mixed cocktails are served up from unique recipes. Only open in the evening, no reservations are necessary.
